Return To Row
Do you remember how much you enjoyed rowing?
We have adults of all age groups rowing frequently on the Tideway.
Join other like-minded individuals and reacquaint yourself with what you used to love to do.
Feeling rusty? Don’t worry — you will get some coaching to help iron out the rough spots! You can join our intermediate group if you wish to get back into rowing on a gradual basis.
It is amazing how quickly it all comes back — just like riding a bike!

Racing
Masters Racing at TTRC still retains its competitive edge in the rowing calendar.
Today, the club continues to enjoy annual successes at various races and regattas, including the Head of The River races, Henley Masters, the British Rowing Masters Championships, and many, many more local regattas in all size boats: singles, doubles/pairs, quads/fours and 8s. We have won races at all different levels from novice to intermediary to Championship events.
This ongoing success and drive is a testimony to the values that have been at the heart of the club since its inception. From ex-Squad rowers to veterans who’ve never ceased pushing their limits — Masters rowing at TTRC is ideal for rowers still wanting to train regularly, aiming to keep healthy, happy and going further and faster.
Contact us and we will introduce you to a group of individuals who have similar skill sets and ambition as yourself.
Recreational Rowing
Recreational rowing at TTRC covers a wide spectrum in age and ability but all rowers share the same joy in getting out on the river, exercise and comradeship.
With organised outings six days a week — sometimes twice a day — TTRC offers something to fit all schedules.
There is a strong social aspect to recreational rowing. Crews often stay for a drink and a chat after an outing – there’s always coffee on tap! Or what about joining a picnic or pub crawl to Putney by boat?
